Following the accident she suffered, Karlie finds herself in an unfortunate situation. Her mind and thoughts are tormented by unanswered questions, meaningless moments, and an immense void that threatens to consume her completely.

In an attempt to solve the mystery of the past few months, she resumes her duties at the Campbell family home and becomes involved in secrets that threaten to change the course of her existence and throw her into a dangerous game.

Will she be able to find the truth without being devoured by the secrets and choices of others, without becoming a negligible character in her own life? Will love be enough to forgive both those around her and herself?
